The Canon PIXMA iP4200
is one of three replacement printers to be released by Canon. In the lower
range the iP1600 and the iP2200 produce great photo prints as well as reliable
document performance. The iP4200 replaces the iP3000 and the iP4000 and goes
that little bit further. Like the other new releases the PIXMA iP4200 uses the
new Chromalife 100 system for extended print life and durability. Protecting

The iP4200 uses a
single ink system one cartridge per colour. This means you only have to chance
the colour that runs out of ink rather than having to throw away a whole
multi-coloured cartridge when your yellow runs out for example. Ink droplets
are as small as 1 picolitre for incredibly fine and detailed results. The
iP4200 can print a photo lab quality 4 x 6 inch borderless print in
approximately 51 seconds on default settings.
Double sided printing
is available with the dual paper trays as well as CD / DVD printing and direct
printing from pictbridge compatible digital cameras and camcorders with no PC
required. The iP4200 supports hi speed USB 2.0 for a lightning fast connection
to your PC for all other printing needs. The iP4200 is going to be one of the
most popular printers in the Canon inkjet range due to its low price and
excellent performance.
