The Canon PIXMA iP5200 is getting towards the premium end of the inkjet printers from Canon. This printer offers premium printing with FINE print heads and Chromalife 100 technology. FINE print heads offer exceptional detail with ink droplets as small as 1 picolitre. The Chromalife 100 system gives long lasting prints for up to 100 years fade free in archival conditions and 30 years fade free in a glass covered frame even in the light. Chromalife technology is also designed to withstand fading due to gases in the air, so it resists fading for longer even if you only pin the photo to a notice board with no covering.

The Canon iP5200 can print a photo lab 4 x 6 inch photo in approximately 36 seconds.
