Meet the bigger brother of the Epson Stylus RX520. The Stylus RX640 was released on the back of the success of the RX520. The RX640 has some enhancements over the previous offering. Firstly the new RX640 has moved from a four colour system to a six colour system. The extra colours of light magenta and light cyan give a better image quality in photos. All the ink cartridges are of course single so only one cartridge is needed to be changed once it has ran out. This keeps the consumables cost down. The Epson RX640 has the ability to print on blank CDs and blank DVDs allowing you to create your very own disc collections with your hand picked images on the discs themselves. CD's and DVD's have to be compatible with direct surface printing from inkjet printers. Printing photos from your your PC is a breeze and printing direct from pictbridge compatible digital cameras and memory cards is just as easy with the aid of the LCD screen on the front of the printer. Simply select the pictures you want from the memory card, follow the on screen instructions and begin to print. You don't need to have your PC switched on to print directly from camera or memory card. Epsons RX640 comes with a USB cable pre attached so no need to buy one or connect it up. Simply connect the USB cable to your PC and install the software. Installation is easy and the included Epson software is very useful for all your printing scanning and copying needs.
