This range of HP Deskjet printers has been renowned for being some of
the quickest printers available. The HP Deskjet 6940 is no exception.
With a top page throughput of 36 pages per minute in draft mono mode and
27 pages per minute in colour draft. Print speeds do obviously decrease
as you increase the quality settings, but the Deskjet 6940 is still one
of the fastest around.
HP's Deskjet 6940 can be added to a wired Ethernet network simply via
the the built in Ethernet port. The 6940 can be added to a network with
ease giving the option of printing from any computer on your network. If
you have a wireless network, then take a look at the
Deskjet 6980 which comes with both wired and
wireless network connections. For single machine users the 6940 is
connected via USB cable.
While perfect for office application do not overlook the Deskjet 6940
for photos. This printer can print borderless photos up to A4 size.
Print direct from your digital camera when using a Pictbridge enabled
digital camera so there is no need to have your Pc switch on.
