Like many of the printers in HP's Deskjet range the Deskjet 6980 offers
a printer which gives high quality results for text and graphics at a
high speed. With a high page throughput of 36 pages per minute in mono
draft quality and 9.6 pages per minute in mono standard quality. Colour
performance is equally impressive with draft quality prints coming out
at 27 pages per minute and normal quality at 5.8 pages per minute.
The HP Deskjet 6980 comes with built in wireless connectivity making
connecting this printer to a wireless network easy and with no need to
buy any extra parts if your wireless network is already up and running.
The Deskjet 6980 will wirelessly connect to 802.11g/b networks. It will
of course still connect by the traditional wired method by either USB or
can be networked via the Ethernet RJ45 connection.
The Deskjet 6980 can produce high quality photo's as well as quick
documents and graphics. With a PictBridge enabled digital camera you can
print photo's directly from your camera via the USB port at the from of
the printer. When using this method there is no need to have your PC
switched on, so print quickly and easily.
